Yes, depending on your medical needs, a virtual telehealth visit is still a great option to receive care without leaving home – especially if you are 65 or older or if you have other health conditions that put you at higher risk during the pandemic. How far apart are chairs in waiting rooms?

We are enforcing social distancing in our lobbies, waiting rooms, exam rooms and offices. Chairs in waiting areas remain positioned 6 feet apart.

How to get rid of a swollen nose?

Stay at home if possible. Practice social distancing. Keep 6 feet between you and other people. Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, after being in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.

How many adults can a minor bring to a visit?

Minors may bring one adult guest to any visit.

How many guests can you have at a VPFW appointment?

VPFW obstetrics patients may now have one adult (18 years or older) guest accompany them to any OB appointment.

What is VPFW monitored for?

All VPFW providers and staff are being monitored and screened daily for COVID-19 symptoms at the start of each work day.

Can you give a baby antibodies through breast milk?

Vaccination is recommended for breastfeeding patients. Antibodies can be passed through breast milk to help protect your baby.

What is gynecology and women's health?

Gynecology & Women's Health. You can turn to us for all your women's health needs, including adolescent gynecology, annual exams, birth control, preventative screenings, problem care, STD testing and treatment, menopause management, bone density scans, and weight management.

Does VPFW have a mammogram?

VPFW offers 3D screening mammography at four locations to help you stay on top of your breast health. Most often, you can even schedule your yearly mammogram for the same day as your annual exam for comprehensive care.

How to sign out of a portal?

Click the Sign Out link at the top right of the screen. Alternatively, if your keyboard remains idle for 10 minutes or more, you will receive a pop-up window asking if you are still actively using the portal. If you do not click the OK button, you will be signed out automatically. Any information you have typed and not saved or sent will be lost.

Any active patient over the age of 13 is eligible to register for and use the Patient Portal. If you are authorized, a family access account can be created that will allow you to access selected family members' health information. top
