Pre-Operative Instructions
- Do not eat or drink after midnight the night before surgery, unless instructed otherwise by the anesthesiologist. This includes refraining from gum, mints, hard candy or water.
- Do not take medication unless instructed by the anesthesiologist or pre-op nurse.
- Your anesthesiologist will call you the day or evening before surgery to answer questions and provide instructions.

Children and Surgery
We are unable to accommodate young children as guests in the surgery center. If your child is the patient and he/she is under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must remain in the facility at all times. If you have a power of attorney or custodial responsibility you must bring appropriate documentation.
