The urine travels to either a central Quest, Labcorp or specialty lab location, many of which are out of state. This transit alone can take a day. The final results are usually available within 5 to 7 business days. Sometimes, we can call the lab and receive results earlier when necessary.

QuestDirect results are only available through MyQuest™, a free, secure patient portal that you can access on your smartphone, tablet, or desktop. Most test results are delivered to your MyQuest™ account within 3-5 business days. You can also use MyQuest™ to share your results with your doctor, family, or friends.

To print a specific report, click or for the report that you want to print. To print all of the reports on the page, click Print Above Reports. To print all of the retrieved reports, click Print All Reports.
To find or obtain your Quest account or membership number, you must check on a union statement or contact a consultant directly. On the statement, the details will be at the top. If you do not have a statement, you will have to contact Quest's member services directly.

After requesting your lab test results, a new item appears on your Activity and Results pages. The item on your Activity page indicates you requested a test result and the item on your Results page provides information about the status of that request.
If your testing was ordered by your healthcare professional, your lab test results (performed by a Quest Diagnostics laboratory) will be delivered to MyQuest as soon as they are available. Patient reports typically include the report status, the patient demographic information, the ordering physician’s name (if available), the client number and address, the accession and requisition numbers, the date and time that the specimen was collected and received, the date and time that the result was reported, the results of the tests performed (if available), and information about the lab that performed the test. If the test was performed at a different lab (for example, if the patient went to a Quest Diagnostics PSC while traveling), a cover letter with additional details might be included.
The Home page displays the total number of new reports that are available for all of the clients that you can access. In addition, if the lab supports this feature, the Home page might also display a subtotal of the new reports that have an advisory message (that is, information about a test that is in question or could not be performed). After you print a particular report, it is no longer considered new (and is therefore not included in the totals that appears on the Home page), but you can still view, print, and download the report again.
The list of retrieved reports indicates whether or not all of the results are available, and whether a result was normal or abnormal (that is, if the result was outside the reference range, or if a microbiology result was clinically significant). If it was not possible to determine whether the results were normal or abnormal, the phrase See Report appears.
