How does it work? 1 First, patients need to make a telemedicine appointment with their healthcare provider. See below for a list of the clinics offering virtual visits. 2 Second, visits can take place through Aspen Valley Hospital’s Patient Portal or through Zoom. The platform used depends on the clinic or specialist you are seeing. If you are a patient of Aspen Valley Primary Care, Cardiology, Ophthalmology or Otorlaryngology (ENT), you must be enrolled in Aspen Valley Hospital’s Patient Portal. 3 If you are using the Patient Portal, you will need to download the Healow app (from the Apple Store for Google Play) onto a smartphone or computer. If you are using Zoom, you will need to download that app onto your smartphone or computer.
